Following the clear advice from the UK government and in the light of the potential for the NHS to be overwhelmed, it is clear that we must play our part at this time of national crisis and make radical changes to our church programme out of love for others.
We are seeking to make essential ministry to the church family and community possible whilst protecting those at risk. Much of this is clearly going to be online, by phone or through limited visitation, minimising risks. Of course, if people are self-isolating we will do whatever we can to support them practically and spiritually.
We believe that spiritual encouragement and strengthening through God’s word is vital. We want to find ways to minister to one another: social media, email and livestreaming.
